22/9/07 – Sarah pops other front top tooth

23/9/07 – Sarah pops tooth to the right of the top front tooth.

7/10/07 – Sarah learns to clap as we were at a family conference all weekend with lots of clapping after speeches and during songs etc.

8/10/07 – Sarah figures that she can actually stand on her own without holding, as she has to do this to be able to practice her new clapping trick while walking about the furniture.   She woke in the morning and from her nap and immediately began practising her clapping.

9/10/07 – Sarah learns to say ‘Duck’

10/10/07 – Sarah decides to walk an spends a good few hours trying to practise it all over the place.   She can do up to 5 steps.

11/10/07 – Sarah now says ‘nana’ for banana, ‘truck, dog and duck.

23/10/07 Sarah gets her sixth tooth – the one to her right of her lower two front teeth.

27/10/07 – Sarah has added baby, yumyum & shower to her vocab.   Julia has become very attached and maternal to her dolls this last week – one life like newborn doll in particular.   She brushes it’s teeth, changes it’s bum, puts it to sleep, gives it a drink, and rushes it to the potty when it then wees.   Carries it everywhere, or puts it in a little trolley and keeps ensuring it has a blanket over it and a pillow under its head.

Our routine for the last few months has been roughly:

Wake at 6.30-7am

Nap from about 10.30 – 12.30pm

Lunch with Aunty Reeze

Bedtime between 7-7.30pm.

I have had a far easier pregnancy sicknesswise, but am extremely tired.   I find it very difficult to sleep at night, so after 3-4 nights of hardly any sleep, I feel more and more tired and eventually have a very vrot day, usually ending in puking, and then take a Polaramine pill to help sleep the next night and try to perk up for the downhill slide again (as I can’t take the pills every night.)  I nap with them in the day, and conk with them at 7pm each night, but still can’t get enough sleep.   It’s causing me to go a bit demented as I can just never get time to myself in peace, especially as they’ve been ill a lot and Sarah very sad a whingy with her continual popping of teeth the past 6 or so weeks.

Sunday 4/11/07 – Sarah got her 7th tooth – top left of the front teeth.   Julia has learnt to quickly change a scream of frustration into a grimace with clenched fists, which we far prefer, otherwise she gets sent to the bathroom.

Monday 5/11/07 – RC3 is a BOY!

Tuesday 6/11/07 – Sarah gets 12 months injections.   Julia is almost 27 months old and weighs 13.255 clothed, and is 92cm tall.   Sarah is almost 13 months old and weighs 8.454 fully clothed and is 75.5cm tall.   This means she can still face backwards in her car seat for safety.   Shame, Julia got to turn around at 4.5 months old, and just under 8kgs.

Saturday 10/11/07 – Sarah started walking everywhere permanently sometime this past week, at about 12 months 3 weeks.   She says quite a number of words now: shower and toddles off to the shower when we tell her, ‘flower’ whenever she sees one, fishy sounds when she sees or hears us speak the word, ‘nana’ when she sees a banana, or when she’s hungry.   Numnumnum when she thinks food is yum.   Truck, Duck, Hat, and tries to put her own hat on.

We went on a homeschooling camp in Guilderton in 39 degree weather, full sun and all females in family very sick – horrible adventure.

Monday 19/11/07 – Julia figures out all her me, my, mine, I words this past week or so, instead of using her name ‘Julia’.   E.g. That’s mine, give it to me, mum cuddle me, I want that, my baby, my bottle instead of That’s Julia’s, give it to Julia eg.   All so a sudden she sounds so grown up.
